There are several important things to consider before you take on a loan and other types of loans with any licensed money lenders in Singapore, not just 365 Credit Solutions. You must always consider if the loan you are taking on is within your capabilities to repay. It is harder to repay a large amount of money over a small amount of money, even if it is within your repayment capabilities.

You should also consider the loan’s purpose as well. Taking out a loan for an emergency medical bill or repaying your most urgent bills is laudable and good, but it might not be the best idea to take out a loan for an expensive vacation while you have other urgent bills to repay. It could cause you to go into deeper debt and hurt your future in the long run.

A licensed moneylender in Singapore can only charge up to 4% maximum interest rate per month for a personal loan. This maximum applies regardless if the loan is secured or unsecured.

In addition, all licensed moneylenders in Singapore can also only charge a maximum late interest rate of 4% per month for late payment fees if a borrower fails to pay on time. The interest can only be charged based on the principal remaining after deducting the original payments made.

For example, Mrs. X has taken out a cash loan of SGD20,000 and has repaid SGD4,000. Only the remaining SGD16,000 can be taken into account for the computation of interest.

Also, the late interest can only be charged on an amount that is repaid late. Legal money lenders in Singapore cannot charge on amounts that are outstanding but not yet due to be repaid. For example, Mr. Y takes a loan of SGD20,000 and fails to pay for the first installment of SGD2,000.

Licensed money lender in Singapore can only charge the late interest on SGD2,000 but not on the remaining SGD18,000 as it is not due yet.

Second, only the following fees can be charged:

  • a fee not exceeding SGD60 for each month of late interest;
  • a fee not exceeding 10% of the principal of the loan when a loan is granted; and
  • legal costs ordered by the court for a successful claim by the licensed money lenders for the recovery of the loan

The total charges imposed by a licensed money lender on the loan’s interest, late interest, upfront administrative and late fee cannot exceed an amount equivalent to the principal of the loan.

Yes, you can! 365 Credit Solutions absolutely encourages all our clients to repay their loans early if they want to.

If you wish to do so, simply inform our loan officers of your intentions and we will take note of your intentions. Once you have deposited the entire amount owed to our account, we will consider your loan to be fully repaid.

Yes, you can! Having another loan application will not be an issue when taking out loans with us as we understand that many of us have more than one loan to our names these days.

When approving your loan, we would only look at your good credit score and net income after the deductions are made to your loans. While this would lower the amount we can offer to you, it would ensure that you would be able to meet all your financial obligations instead.

365 Credit Solutions, an authorized and licensed money lender in Singapore, also gently reminds all our customers that taking on too many loans can lead to financial hardship, so be mindful of taking on further unnecessary loan transactions that you might not need.

There are strict rules governing money lending Singapore. A Singapore money lender must follow all the rules and regulations set forth by the Moneylenders Act.

365 Credit Solutions strongly suggests that you do not borrow from unlicensed money lenders. You must always verify that a money lender is licensed by checking the list of licensed money lenders by the Singapore Ministry of Law. Click here to access the list of licensed money lenders.

A Singapore money lender will not engage in the following behavior:

  • Use abusive language or behave in a threatening manner towards you.
  • Ask for your SingPass user ID and/or password.
  • Retain your NRIC card or any other personal ID documents (e.g., passport, work permit, employment pass, or ATM card).
  • Ask you to sign on a blank or incomplete Note of Contract for the loan.
  • Grant you a loan without giving you a copy of the Note of contract for the loan and/or without properly explaining to you all the loan terms and conditions or exerting vicious interest rates.
  • Grant your loan without exercising due diligence (e.g. SMS or email before even receiving your loan application form and supporting documents, such as the income tax assessment and payslips).
  • Withhold any part of your principal loan amount for any reason.

Such practices are not acceptable. If you encounter them, you should report the money lender to various government agencies, such as the Police or the Registry of Moneylenders, with information such as the money lender’s business name, license, and contact numbers. • Make sure the licensed money lender delivers to you the correct principal amount of the loan or actual amount. The money lender is only permitted upfront processing fees deduction of a loan approval fee of up to 10% of the principal amount.
  • Pay the loan monthly installments on time to avoid incurring late repayment fees.
  • Make sure the money lender issues you a receipt every time you make loan instalments towards your personal loan, and check it for correctness (e.g. name, amount, date).
  • Make sure you receive a statement of account for all your loans at least once every January and July and check it for correctness (e.g. name, amount, date); and
  • You should retain all statements of accounts and receipts of payments as documentation and evidence of payments.

Repayment typically ranges from 1-24 months.

  • 1 month for Payday Loans
  • 1 month until the property completion date for Bridging Loans
  • 6-12 months for Personal and Foreigner Loans
  • 6-12 months or until your 55th birthday – CPF Personal Loan
  • 6-24 months for Business Loans

If you are unable to repay the loan on time, it’s crucial to contact us immediately to discuss your situation. We offer loan extension options or alternative repayment arrangements. The availability of extensions and terms can vary, so it’s essential to communicate your difficulties and work with us as soon as you find yourself in a tight situation to find a suitable solution.

At 365 Credit Solutions, we don’t require a good credit score to access our loan plans. Instead, we take into account your overall financial situation and provide a tailored loan plan designed to make repayment more manageable for you.

We do not impose any upfront fees. The only permitted charge is a fee that does not exceed 10% of the loan’s principal when the loan is granted.
